var fDesc=new Array(); fDesc[0] = "John Nelson Darby, an influential Anglo-Irish evangelist, was born in London in 1800 and died in 1882. He was ordained as an Anglican clerigman in Ireland after deciding that working as a lawyer was in conflict with his religious beliefs. He produced an English translation of the Bible (which is also available as a BibleMax module), based on the original Hebrew and Greek texts, aiming to reach common people who hasn't the knowledge needed to read those anicent texts. Darby also participated as the main scholar in many non-English translations of the Bible, among which we found the French version of the New Testament, known in French as Les Livres Saints Connus sous le nom de Nouveau Testament, Version Nouvelle. The complete version of the Bible was published later, in 1885. Now you can own this translation of the Bible thanks to BibleMaximum, which has issued it as a module for their BibleMax software. As other modules containing Bible versions, this one is fully interactive with the Commentaries and References modules preinstalled in your BibleMax core program.
You can get this version of the Bible, along with many other Bible versions, commentaries, devotionals and other texts by ordering the free CD and paying only the duplication, printing, postage and handling costs."; function tShowHide(id, show) { var s = document.getElementById("desc"); if ((s.innerHTML.length<=212 || show==1) && show!=2) { s.innerHTML = fDesc[id]; if (document.getElementById('m1')) document.getElementById('m1').style.display='none'; if (document.getElementById('m2')) document.getElementById('m2').style.display='none'; if (document.getElementById('more_txt')) document.getElementById('more_txt').style.display='inline'; } else { s.innerHTML = ''; } }
