var fDesc=new Array(); fDesc[0] = "Penumbra: Black Plague is the second installment in the Penumbra series. The game is a first-person adventure game, though there is some combat along the way. The story of Black Plague starts where you previously left off - you are Philip, a physicist that ended up in a remote mine in Greenland searching for clues about his dead father. The first game ends when someone knocks Philip unconscious. Black Plague starts with you waking up in a locked room after being knocked-out. The narrative is seen through an email Philip sent to a friend, so the game is played as a flashback. As Philip you will find yourself in an underground research facility that is all in ruins, and there is something else alive with you. The game creates a magnificent horror atmosphere, that can scare the living daylights out of you. There are a number of puzzles to solve, many based on physics, which are really well done. This game improved a lot from the first one, however the game is too short. There is really no reason why you would want to play it again either. Still, for what it's worth, the game has a lot of thrills and chills. It is recommended for adventure gamers."; function tShowHide(id, show) { var s = document.getElementById("desc"); if ((s.innerHTML.length<=212 || show==1) && show!=2) { s.innerHTML = fDesc[id]; if (document.getElementById('m1')) document.getElementById('m1').style.display='none'; if (document.getElementById('m2')) document.getElementById('m2').style.display='none'; if (document.getElementById('more_txt')) document.getElementById('more_txt').style.display='inline'; } else { s.innerHTML = ''; } }
