In the employability active policies framework, social policies context and the experience in the intervention work of social organisations working for social and labour insertion of the most disadvantaged groups are increasing the emphasise in the development of the employability as a key factor for the inclusion.

Social exclusion is a dynamic process associated to the economic structure and to the social change which consequence is that, the needed opportunities for the human development are denied to certain people and, in consequence, they are situated in a serious situation of poverty and social exclusion.

The exclusion has a multifactorial character in which the lack of employability conditions is showed as a social exclusion factor, as it could be the education, the culture or the housing. The employability is understood as the collection of the specific technical knowledge, the basic requirements to access a job and the collection of capabilities, abilities and long range attitudes belonging to the person that affects many different tasks and. They are acquired not only in the vocational and training experiences, but also from the personal vital ones.

The present project wants to approach the lack of employability skills of the group of women that are at situation of risk of social exclusion, particularly the extracomunitary migrant women, long term unemployed women older than 40 year and young women lacking vocational qualification.

The project aims to study the processes and obstacles that difficult the employability development, to elaborate a diagnosis model for the employability critic factors and, at the same time, design proposals and instruments to promote intervention policies and actions.

Objectives of the project.
Analyse the processes that affects in the low employability situation and identify the critic factors in three groups of population: extracomunitary migrant women, long term unemployed women older than 40 year and young women lacking vocational qualification, specially the problems and obstacles that affects the women in the development of the skills for the employability.

Elaborate a employability key skills analysis model in the groups at risk of social exclusion in all the participant countries from a cultural diversity and gender perspective.

Promote the dialog and the knowledge at European level about the new approaches based on the employability key skills development in the framework of actions and programs to fight against social exclusion from the analysis of good practises exchanges and innovative approaches in all the countries participating in the project.
