Pass all the dark levels, defeat monsters, beat tough bosses by jumping on their heads and kicking them and gain the highest rank possible, „Starman”, in three different categories: Kill Rank, Coin Rank and Score Rank! The results are shown at the end of each level. There are seven ranks to get: Goomba, the worst one, Yoshi, Toad, Luigi, Bowser, Mario and mentioned Starman. There is an unlimited amount of lives, but you have a bar of life. Watch it closely and don't let it become empty unless you want Mario to lose his head – literally!
