AsuroFlash

There is a beautiful new driver module included with AF allowing you to easily flash the ATMEGA via its ISP interface. What you have to do is select the ISP serial/parallel Flasher and select the dongle type in the config dialog. You can select dongles for the parallel or serial port interface. The rest of the game, flashing though, is as easy as you are already used.

ISP Programmer

SerialComInstruments

In addition to the selectable standard baud rates, you can enter any baud rate in the baud rate field. An ATMega 328 with 16 MHz quartz (eg Arduino) runs then easily with 500,000 Baud or 250,000 Baud. SerialComInstruments can easily display data at a rate of up to 10,000 values / sec. However, this only makes sense for the XY-Graph / FFT instrument and the Paint instrument.
